Scripts are available for:


General Database Administration Tasks

These tasks require the general system-administration password.

The following scripts perform general administrative tasks, but also aid the Proceedings Chair in gathering relevant materials. Thus, these may be accessed with either the Conference-Chair password or with a separate Proceedings-Chair password.

The following scripts are generally available after acceptance and scheduling information has been entered. While many of these may be reference from links on the Symposium page, links are provided here for administrative convenience.


Tasks Involving Submissions or Reviewing

These tasks require the general system-administration or Proposal's Chair password.

Type of Submission:  Nifty Course Assignment  Panel  Paper  Tutorial/Workshop

Administrator Password:    

Find a Proposal, Given Proposal Number or Proposer's Last Name

Remove a Proposal, Given Proposal Number or Participant's Last Name

View Index of Proposals (check that submitted files are in PDF format and obtain links to the proposals.)
Check files for pdf format: No (relatively quick) Yes (may take considerable time)

Assignment of Reviewers to Proposals by Chair

Check the Assignment of Reviewers to Proposals

Review Ratings and Comments of Reviews

Update Accepted, Rejected, and Poster Proposal Tables
This option allows remote execution of the MakeAcceptedProposalsTable, MakeRejectedProposalsTable, and MakePosterProposalsTable queries. Reminder: These queries must be run (and the corresponding tables checked) before sending letters of proposal acceptance or rejection to proposers.

Create or Upload a Letter Template to Send to Proposers, Reviewers, or Session Chairs

Notify Proposers of Acceptance or Rejection
Reminder: One must execute the MakeAcceptedProposalsTable, MakeRejectedProposalsTable, and MakePosterProposalsTable queries within the Access database before using these scripts.
